In this look i wore a baseball hooded jumper from Cotton On, DIY Shorts, Trekking boots from Rugged Outback (Payless), beaded accessories from Aldo and a Kenneth Cole Watch.
The Rundown
The Shorts i wore, were some old denim jeans that i cut into shorts. I didn’t seam or attempted to sew the edges and just let the thing fray like there’s no tomorrow. Also, i try to apply liner at my top lids just to make my eyes pop. I use Lovely ME:EX Auto Eyeliner from The Faceshop. To avoid looking like an Emo dude or looking dark just apply liner on the top eyelids. You can put some liner on the lowers lids for some edge but i suggest don’t go full on it, just apply 1/4 to 1/2 of your outer lid (the part farthest from your nose bridge)
When i wear long sleeved anything, i tone down the look by wearing short trousers, with the weather here in the philippines you can’t go wrong with a LongSleeved-Shorts Combination. You can’t go wrong with a plain jumper, i just choose this baseball inspired sweatshirt from Cotton On just to give the look some edge.
The Boots, i recently got into boots and high cut footwear, so yeah. I always try to showcase my shoes in my looks. Often times they serve as the splash of color for my looks. Like In this this case, i wear Yellow socks to put some color in this somehow neutral look. The boots are trekking boots from Rugged Outback from Payless
With the accessories, i always follow a 3-4 rule. 3 accessories (1 wood, 1 leather, 1 fabric) and 1 watch. If i ain’t wearing a watch i go for 2 wood (1 chunky, 1 skinny). Accessories from Aldo
I treat Watches as a bestfriend. Watches can be used to dress up or dress down a look. Wear a more formal looking one in a casual outfit and you’ll look more dressy and wearing a casual one will make a dressier outfit look more fun. This watch is from Kenneth Cole
Oh Yeah! you can see on the photo above that i’m wearing a backpack. Thee back pack is a satchel i bought from Zalora from The School Of Satchel an online shop. The Satchel’s here:
Well there you go. just a quick post, as it seems like this blog is beginning to gather some dust and cobwebs.
